Do you trust the two party partisan US government system? Well, polls from reputable news agencies like Washington Post, Huffington Post, CBS New, Pew Research http://people-press.org/trust/, and many others put people who distrust of our government at 70 to 80% of the population. So what are you going to do about it? Continue to be a sheeple? The Pew research poll is quite ironic because while Republican policy makers have cost the tax payers more and lied about selling weapons to our enemies and redistributed wealth from the working class to the elite owner investor class that bank over seas, belief in Republicans is traditionally a bit higher than that for Democrats. The only answer can be that they can lie better with a straight face because they are actually arrogant enough to believe in Straussian economics and the noble lie!
What are you going to do about the fact that the most spineless ruthless greedy people on the planet run it?I am designing a method of Direct Participatory Democracy that will allow voters to vote on laws and appropriations rather than an individual person who is indebted to the people who bought his way into office. If you are here at our website please take a look around, it is my hope that by doing so you will see and understand that Direct Participatory Democracy can work for you.
Please click on nomination form on the main menu on the left, download the Nomination form, print copies of it, sign it and have friends and neighbors from the Wisconsin 7th District sign them. Then you can send them to me by July 7th 2010 and I will send them in to the elections board so I, the only Direct Participatory Democracy Candidate can get on the ballot.
Thank you for helping me allow you and I to have a meanful vote and say in our government.
I added a comments function to all the articles and the voting polls. So if you vote or click on results you can post a comment expressing your opinion about the legislation. For the bills I added to the voting function of this site, and for most all bills (resolutions), you can look on the left side menu and use "roll Call:key bills" or "Thomas Jefferson" links to look up and view the entire text of any resolution you are interested in. There is an old saying that truth is simple and lies are complicated. This may not be entirely true but for the most part I believe it is. If a concerned citizen decides for or against a resolution just on the title; I think in most cases their vote will be as correct as if they read the whole bill. I believe most resolutions are purposefully complicated to allow all the representatives buddies, lobbyists and campiegn contributers fingers into the pot of our collective taxpayer monies. If you disagree I want to here from you, that is what democracy is about.
